Everyone on our team is committed to giving a personal service that puts the client first. When we first get together, we’ll listen carefully to what you tell us, and then create a care plan that covers your specific needs. A hair wash on Monday, laundry on Tuesday and a bath on Wednesday? We’ll do whatever it takes to help you live independently in your own home.

Some of our services :

Regular respite careIf you are normally cared for by a relative or friend, we can provide a regular carer to give you both a break.
Perhaps someone to help you to bed once a week, to give your carer an evening off, or perhaps someone to take you out to a club or activity, giving the person who normally looks after you some free time at home.
We're a small, local home care agency, delivering a genuinely personal service at a value for money price.

Help with your daily jobsOur team are happy to feed the cat, to sort out washing and ironing, pop the hoover round, or do a little dusting – because we understand how important these things are.
We can collect pensions and prescriptions; we can also do the shopping, putting a stop to any worries about running out of food
Getting you out and aboutIf you can manage on your feet a little, we can take you out and about.
There’s no need for you to stop enjoying your favourite social activities just because you can’t get there and back. Clubs, evening classes, meeting up with friends – we’ll help make sure you don’t lose out on your social life.

Elderly CareHelping loved ones to retain their independence
Caring for the Elderly in their own home...We know that your home is so much more than your house. It’s your memories, your keepsakes, and your independence. So when day to day tasks become a bit of a struggle it’s understandable that the thought of having to leave your home can be a worry.
Caring companionship - Helping the elderly at home.We provide much more than a bit of home care assistance! Promoting independence and good humoured company are core beliefs that all of our home care assistants live by. Our family run care agency can provide anything from a helping hand in your home to a full support service, whatever you need to remain independent.
Stay at home instead, Senior care in the home. Were a family run care service primarily focused on elderly care in Macclesfield. As an independent care agency we are free to operate an entirely bespoke senior care service, that’s why we operate an open door policy. If you’re looking for home help services in Salford then the first step is to arrange a care service assesment. We are proud to offer these free of charge and with absolutely no obligation or hard-sell.

Personal Care

High quality personal care, focused on individual needs.
Help with all aspects of personal care...If getting out of bed is a struggle, we’ll arrive in time to help to get you up, washed, dressed, and ready for the day ahead. We can prepare meals, and remind you about medication. At night, there’s help available to get you ready for bed. Before leaving, we make sure clients are comfortable, and that drinks and anything else they might need are close at hand.
...so you can function independently. Our service is all about enabling you to function independently in your own home. You may need help several times a day, or you may only need us once or twice a week. You may need us for fifteen minutes, you may need us for an hour. We don’t have any set tick lists of tasks, but base our services around each individual client’s priorities.
Use lifting equipment? If you use lifting equipment, that’s no problem. We train all our carers fully in the use of equipment such as hoists, slide sheets, and standing aids. You can be confident you will be safe and secure.

Respite CareRespite services covering all aspects of personal care, from washing and dressing through to meal preparation and light domestic tasks.
A regular arrangement...If you are normally cared for by a relative or friend, we can provide a regular carer to give you both a break. Perhaps someone to help you to bed once a week, to give your carer an evening off, or perhaps someone to take you out to a club or activity, giving the person who normally looks after you some free time at home. If all that’s needed is a quick visit to help with taking medication, that’s fine with us.
Even a short respite break can be a big help, allowing your carer to rest and relax knowing they don’t have to worry, and giving you the chance to spend time with somebody different.
...or ad hoc helpFrom a single visit through to convalescent care after a hospital stay, we’ll sort out whatever’s needed. Whether it’s planned – your carer going away on holiday, for example, or unplanned – even carers get sick – we can help. No job is too small, and we can often be with you with as little as 48 hours' notice.

Dementia CareSpecialist support from understanding and knowledgeable staff.
Knowledgeable care for dementia sufferers...Our staff are all trained in dementia care, so they understand the symptoms of the condition, the effect it has on sufferers, and the most effective ways of helping people cope.
When the symptoms of dementia strike, life changes. Simple tasks get harder, or even impossible. Remembering the daily routine can start to become a challenge, and a sufferer’s quality of life can quickly deteriorate as they increasingly struggle to do activities they once didn’t even have to think about. And on top of the practical difficulties, a dementia diagnosis is a huge psychological blow, which often leaves people feeling vulnerable and unsure about the future.
You’ll find Angels @ Home carers a reliable source of reassurance and emotional support, as well as being skilled in giving practical help and advice on managing independently for as long as possible.
...and sympathetic support for familiesIf you’re caring for a family member with dementia symptoms, it can be hard to come to terms with seeing the person you love struggling to cope with practical tasks and starting to behave in unfamiliar ways as the disease takes hold. Having a carer who understands makes a big difference. We also offer dementia awareness sessions. At these sessions, you can find out what to expect as the disease progresses, and get ideas on how to help your loved one cope in practical ways that preserve their sense of identify and boost well-being.

Domestic TasksHelp with light housework, to keep your home in order.
Help with day-to-day domestic tasks...Our team are happy to feed the cat, to sort out washing and ironing, pop the hoover round, or do a little dusting – because we understand how important these things are. We can collect pensions and prescriptions; we can also do the shopping, putting a stop to any worries about running out of food.
...as part of your regular care packageIf it needs doing, it needs doing. We don’t have one team providing personal care, and another looking after domestic tasks. Your carer will include agreed light domestic tasks in their regular visits. And if you need more heavy-duty cleaning doing, we can put you in touch with a suitable cleaning company.

Food and DrinkHelp to eat well, even when you can’t manage to cook.
A drink and a snack...We’ll always make a fresh hot or cold drink for you when we visit, and we can sort out snacks to make sure you’re not getting hungry through the day. And if clients don’t feel like eating big meals, our carers can help make sure they eat small things regularly and stay well nourished.
...Or a good hearty mealCarers are happy to help prepare anything from a simple boiled egg through to a full cooked meal. Breakfast, lunch, tea or supper, you can enjoy the food you want, when you want it. All our staff are trained in food hygiene, so you don’t need to worry about what’s going on in your kitchen. If you need us to do the shopping, that’s no problem. And if you can’t manage the washing up, we’ll make sure our carers have time to help with that too.

Medication PromptingHelp with medication, to make sure you take medicines as prescribed.
No more forgetting to take medicines...We can pop in to remind and help, or simply make a regular reminder phone call. If your memory isn’t what it once was, and there’s a concern medicines might get missed, it’s a big relief to know someone is there to give that all-important reminder.
In addition, we communicate regularly with the other health care practitioners involved with the client, to make sure medicines are appropriate and dosages correct.

...or an occasional trip outMaybe it’s time for some new shoes, maybe your favourite show is on in town, or maybe you simply fancy a drive in the country. Whatever the reason, our carers can organise the trip and take you to where you want to go.
Travelling safelyOur staff are insured to use their own cars, and we check each vehicle is roadworthy, with current tax and MOT. Alternatively, we can arrange taxis. However you travel, you’ll have someone to help you manage the journey and accompany you as needed when you are out.

Our Approach to CareWe’re a small, local home care agency, delivering a genuinely personal service at a value for money price.
A welcome visitorWe believe a home care service should be about much more than providing the basic practical support. If you are to have a carer coming into your home and becoming part of your daily life, you want that person to be someone you know and trust, who puts your interests first and deals with your needs on your own terms. We understand that, and we take great care to recruit only experienced carers who are interested in people as individuals and are committed to giving the highest standard of care.
Our team are adaptable, and happy to combine personal care with light housework, shopping or trips out.
Strong relationshipsWe work to build strong relationship with our clients and their families, so we can give the best possible care to each individual. Rather than having a stream of different care workers coming round, you’ll be allocated a regular carer or small team of carers. You’ll know who to expect each time, and you’ll be able to relax knowing your carer understands what needs doing and how you like things done.
You’ll also have regular contact from a  manager, checking on how things are going, and our door is always open to clients and their families. You can call us at any time with questions or concerns, or drop in to Langworthy office  for a cup of tea and a chat.
We want our clients to be able to stay happily in their own homes for as long as they wish, and it’s our job to help make that happen.
